Top 5 Feature: Easy Tiger

  Easy Tiger spawned from studies in Audio Production at the Art Institute of Seattle, manifested under the name " Lackluster " with a debut LP while serving in the Air Force in Germany, and solidified itself upon landing in Columbus, Ohio in 2008, where it immediately hit the road; playing shows across the country, gaining national and international press, and landing licensing deals with the likes of Red Bull and MTV. Things were great! One magazine even called us the future of "bro-rock." Not sure what that means, but Deftones were mentioned so... maybe not the worst thing?  Something changed though. Members came and went, and the angsty screams and post-grunge riffs no longer felt authentic. Lackluster rebranded as Easy Tiger in late 2019 and immediately found itself locked down for years with nothing to do but make music. Ever since, Easy Tiger has been releasing music and relentlessly playing shows with established acts such as Hembree, Rumpke Mo

Top 5 Feature: Coxey's Army

  Coxey's Army formed in central Ohio in the fall of 2019 with the intent of producing its own brand of positive, community driven punk rock. As the founding lineup was finalized in the spring of 2020, the band's beginnings were heavily impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic. Determined not to let the pandemic stop them, Coxey's Army worked tirelessly for a year laying a foundation for the band. Taking their name from an early 20the Century slang term referring to a ragtag band of society's underclass, Coxey's Army explores themes of hard work and perseverance accompanied by driving punk guitars and hints of Americana and Celtic music.  SHOWS: Since their live performance debut in early 2022, Coxey's Army have performed as part of numerous lineups. You will have a chance to see Coxey's Army this Friday, May 17 as part of Migraines' 32nd Anniversary Show with The Give-Ups at Blind Bob's (430 E. 5th St., Dayton, Ohio 45402) and this Saturday, May 18 with A

The live touring road dogs even performed in Buffalo, New York late February. "The name of our band represents a strong and impactful statement against the mistreatment of humans where we are being manipulated and assaulted by our fellow citizens. Our once trusted peers have betrayed us, leaving us wondering whom to rely on. They seek to destroy us completely, taking every last thing from us." Upcoming Live Shows : May 10, Akron at The Vortex; June 1, Sandusky at VFW; June 8, Cincinnati at Legends; June 15, Norwalk at Charlies; July 11, Steubenville at Masonic Temple; July 13, Fort Wayne, Indiana at Piere's; July 26, Fostoria at Venue 18; August 3, Green Camp at Tiki Stix Fest;
