Georgia Grammy nominated hip-hop artist Gunna kicked off his Bittersweet Tour last night with an energetic bang. The tour, which featured opening artist Flo Milli, is named after his early 2024 single release “Bittersweet” from 300 Entertainment/YSL Records and included songs from all four of his albums, but focused heavily on last year’s A Gift & A Curse

Some of Gunna’s career collabs have been with Future, Young Thug, Travis Scott, Moneybagg Yo, 21 Savage, Offset, Chris Brown, Doja Cat, Lil Baby. Of the nearly 40-track setlist with an intermission, some songs included: “Sold Out Dates,” “Yosemite,” “Whatsapp (Wassam),” “Drip Too Hard,” “Bread & Butter,” “Pushin P,” “Prada Dem,” “Oh Okay,” “Hot.” The artist, who has recently graced the cover of XXL magazine’s latest issue, also debuted a few new tracks from his upcoming album One of Wun, set to release Friday, May 10.

Gunna performed on two stages giving fans a close encounter on a small stage that was setup across from the main stage. The main stage—with a small curtain of blue and white flower petals, resembling the artwork of One of Wun, hung at the bottom of the stage’s front middle—had a giant white statue of Gunna’s head turned sideways, with similarities to the DS4Ever album cover. A video wall backed the stage. The smaller stage had large ice like stalagmites surrounding the stage floor.

Interested in supporting the inner streets of Atlanta, Gunna is taking on philanthropy this tour, partnering with the Black Music Action Coalition (BMAC) and Live Nation, he is allocating $1 from every ticket sold to support his non-profit organization, Gunna’s Great Giveaway. Gunna will also soon be launching a clothing line with boohooMan called P Star.

Anyone who attends any of the remaining 17 tour dates across the country are in for a show to remember with quite a production.
