Davis Unplugged, formed September 2025, is not your average acoustic cover group. This dynamic duo—Justin Davis of Delphos, Ohio and Ryan De Clute of Findlay, Ohio—came together in a most unexpected way.
After years on separate musical paths, their stories converged at just the right moment.
Justin began performing acoustically as a teenager before joining a touring and recording hard rock band. His journey eventually led him to formal music education at the Institute Of Production And Recording, fronting a successful cover band, and ultimately returning to his roots in his hometown.
One day, a simple Facebook post caught Ryan’s attention.
Intrigued by Justin’s unique musical approach, he decided to reach out and offer his own expertise. That connection sparked something special—what began as a collaboration, quickly evolved into Davis Unplugged: A fresh re-imagining of what acoustic music can be in a modern era.
Their mission is simple: Modernize the acoustic experience without losing authenticity.
