On Sunday, Nov. 23 in Cincinnati, Ohio, American metalcore Texan five-piece Fit For A King (FFAK) packed a sold-out show at Bogarts for their Lonely God Tour with Spite, 156/Silence, and Make Them Suffer; celebrating the release of their highly anticipated album Lonely God.

The last time I saw Fit For A King at this venue was in 2015 on the Frozen Flame Tour with August Burns Red.

FFAK opened their set with “Begin The Sacrifice,” and as soon as vocalist Ryan Kirby grabbed the mic, the crowd was electric.

It felt like every fan in the room was part of the band—they knew every word!

They also played one of my personal favorites, “Backbreaker.”

Seeing how much FFAK has grown was such a cool experience—not only in their music and lyricism, but also in their top-notch stage presence.

If this tour stops in a city near you, it’s an absolute must-see (if it’s not already sold out).

They ended their incredible set with the album’s title track, “Lonely God.”

As soon as the lights turned off and the stage went black, the sold-out crowd immediately began chanting: “ONE MORE SONG! ONE MORE SONG! ONE MORE SONG!”

The metalcore five-piece did not disappoint. They played not just one, but two final songs, closing the night with their ever-popular, “Witness The End.”

Be sure to check out Fit For A King if you haven’t already, and catch them in a city near you before it’s too late!
