Confined By Silence was just a fun hobby between Randy (guitar) and Chris (drums) for a long time; something to do on Sunday afternoons in Columbus, Ohio.
We had no band name and no name for any songs. That went on for a few years, then things were starting to sound good and put together, so we decided to look for a bass player and turn this into something.
We were very lucky, because the first person we brought to the jam space to play bass was Jeff. We all clicked and songs started to flow, we gave ourselves a name and started to look for shows.
We've only been playing out for about 2 1/2 years. And hope to record our 12 original songs later this year.
We listen to a wide variety of music—reggae, country and heavy metal. Bands like: Diamond Rio, Pantera, Rush, Iron Maiden, Tropidelic. Because of bands like those, we don't just hear music we feel it!
Music has been a blessing for us and a huge part of our lives. We are grateful to know and make music together.
To anyone that takes time out of their lives to listen to what we've made: we are truly grateful!
