Review & Photos: Real Friends in Columbus, Ohio

By Josh Estep, OOTB Publications

On April 16th, Chicago poppy sad boy group Real Friends played a couple of headlining shows before they joined Silverstein on their 25 Years Of Noise Tour.

I caught Real Friends in Columbus, Ohio at their sold-out headline show at Ace Of Cups! The place was packed!

Opening their set with “Waiting Room” from their fourth studio album Blue Hour, which was released in October 2024, the audience seriously did not stop singing along throughout the entire performance.

During the ever-so-popular jam “I’ve Given Up On You,” vocalist Cody Muraro made his way to the center of the crowd and began singing the popular song while the entire room surrounded Cody and began singing along with him!

You could feel the emotions in the room!

Closing out the night with the raw and emotional tune “Waiting Room,” you could tell everyone in the room had similar feelings as the band ended their set!

Be sure to catch Real Friends this spring on tour with Silverstein!
