Album Review: Nerv, Lost

Nerv released their 6-song EP Lost this month. Nerv is a rock band that hit the scene November 2017. They came from different states and now reside in California.

The video to “Lost” had me in some feelings from my past, being a representation of my late teenage years where fear and anxiety ruled. Never ending thoughts constantly raging through my mind and the endless feeling of loneliness and uncertainty. Song and video were a home run.

I watched a live performance of “Fake,” their 2nd song on the EP. Nerv definitely sounds tight and I’d love to hit up a show—great stage presence and vibe.

Their music reminds me a little of Fall Out Boy, but also similar to a few Columbus’ locals like Harmless Habit and Noise CTRL, whom I’ve seen several times.

I say give Nerv’s Lost a listen and rock this summer, my friends.
