Album Review: A Killers Confession, Victim 1, out Sept. 13

Set for release this Friday, Sept. 13, A Killers Confession Victim 1 marks the band’s fourth full length LP. The boys do not disappoint with a juggernaut of new material for the masses!

“Tongue” starts the party with an aggressive in-your-face tirade of industrial vibes twisting its way through some furious double bass and brutal breakdowns.

“Sun” hits with that classic carnival groove that’s been a staple of Waylon Reavis’ career with growling vocals and a soaring chorus.

“Greed” hits home with a message about those who cannot seem to ever find their own way. This song will find its way into my regular playlist.

“Voices” hits with a powerful groove and a poignant statement about today’s mental health crisis.

“Purpose” stakes a claim for the album’s best song! Intricate breakdowns and a heavy groove deliver the kill shot in the middle of an album that has delivered from the first note.

“Martyr” delivers some of the best lyrical introspection and a monster chorus that will stick in your head for days.

“Kill Or Be Killed” smashes the door down with some classic vibes prevalent throughout Waylon’s career. This tune has a great dance groove that is guaranteed to keep the crowd moving.

“Filth” is one of the most unique tunes on the record. While keeping the mood of the record, this track gives a peek into some of the newer sounds the band experiments with.

“The Rain” takes a turn in a different direction before finding its way back into the bands signature sound.

“Wasteland” is a surprising departure from the common ending to a record as it could have easily been the opening song.

A Killers Confession, “Victim 1” is an excellent effort that is set to take over the airwaves. I can’t wait to catch these guys in a live setting. Keep your eyes open for these guys in a town near you!
