What’s Up? My name is Lil Jesse.
I am a pop, hip hop, alternative musician out of Eastern, Kentucky—born and raised. My hometown is named Hippo; a small area full of mountains and trees.
My music is all over the place, one minute i’m putting out rap and then, the next is punk mixed with some rock and pop.
My background comes from all sorts of styles of music; I really love 80’s style like Hall & Oates and David Bowie.
Music has been instilled in me since birth.
I grew up hearing my father jam the Eagles and Bob Seger, mixed with some Allman Brothers, non stop through the years.
My father is a fantastic singer songwriter and performer (mainly classical rock)—he’s been a big influence on me for sure.
The rap side of me came from discovering a 50 Cent and Eminem CD from Walmart.
I just have to say, I would download an ungodly amount of music from Limewire, way back in the day; illegal i know, but I was just a kid wanting to jam out.
I’ve been writing music since about 11, but it was horrible raps wrote in a little notebook that I used to rap and perform for my mother.
I was also in a legitimate band with my brother and our 2-3 friends for years.
We won a couple talent shows in school.
Thank you to all my fans worldwide who have stuck with me throughout this journey… we are only growing!
To all the new listeners, I hope you enjoy.
Within the next 40 days, I’ll be dropping like 4-6 new songs (singles).
