Kamelot Brings A Night Of Epic Story Metal To Globe Iron

If you walked into Globe Iron in Cleveland, Ohio on Friday, Sept. 18 expecting an ordinary night of heavy music, you were in for something much bigger.

This was a night of storytelling, soaring melodies, powerful vocals, and epic metal, as Kamelot brought their tour to town with two incredible female-fronted bands: Frozen Crown from Milan, Italy, and Visions Of Atlantis from Styria, Austria.

From the moment the first notes hit the room, this wasn't simply a three-band concert—it was an evening built around stories told through metal.

Opening the night, Frozen Crown wasted no time making their presence known. Hailing from Milan, Italy, the band delivered a powerful combination of melody, speed, and classic metal intensity.

Their performance showcased exactly why international touring bands like this are so important: they bring a different flavor and perspective to the metal scene while proving that great music has no borders. A huge thank you to Frozen Crown for bringing their music to the United States.

Their performance was energetic, engaging, and a fantastic way to kick off the evening.

Next came Visions of Atlantis, from Styria, Austria, and they took the night to another level.

Their symphonic approach to metal created an atmosphere that felt larger than the room itself. With powerful female vocals, dramatic arrangements, and music that feels like it belongs in an epic fantasy adventure, Visions of Atlantis delivered a performance that was impossible to ignore.

Once again, a huge thank you for making the trip across the Atlantic and bringing that music and energy to American audiences. They didn't just play songs—they created worlds.

Then it was time for the headliners: Kamelot.

With a career spanning decades and a catalog filled with epic themes, dramatic storytelling, and symphonic metal grandeur, Kamelot was perfectly suited to close out a night like this. The band came out ready to remind everyone why their music has such a devoted following.

Adding even more excitement to the occasion, Kamelot had just released their 14th studio album in August 2026, giving fans another chapter in the band's already massive musical story.

Storytelling.

All three bands approached their music differently, but each one understood the power of telling a story through heavy music.

Whether it was Frozen Crown's melodic attack, Visions of Atlantis' cinematic symphonic sound, or Kamelot's grand, theatrical approach, the evening felt like one continuous journey through different worlds.

There was plenty of headbanging, plenty of powerful vocals, and plenty of moments that made you stop and simply take in what was happening on stage. And, having two female-fronted bands on the bill made the night even more memorable.

Frozen Crown and Visions of Atlantis both proved that they weren't there simply to support the headliner—they came to make an impression, and they absolutely did.

By the time Kamelot closed the night, there was really only one thought:

What a night.

Three bands. Three distinct approaches to metal. One incredible evening filled with music, imagination, and storytelling.

A massive thank you to Frozen Crown, Visions of Atlantis, and Kamelot for bringing this tour to the United States and making the Sept. 18 stop at Globe Iron one hell of a night.

Would I go see these bands again? Absolutely. Without hesitation.
