Hailing from the caves and such of Southeast Ohio comes Black Sasquatch.
In 2018, three old friends took over an abandoned trailer and began making music together again after a 15-year break.
Bub Hiestand (vocals/guitar), Ted Wilson (bass) and Patrick Pryor (drums) became Black Sasquatch and self-recorded their first EP: The Triangle. They also started their own record label, INC Records, then they began playing shows in 2020 during the heart of the pandemic.
2022 saw the release of the ambitious Believe EP and a heavy schedule of shows throughout Ohio.
In 2023, another longtime friend, Theodore Charles Hall, came onboard for guitar to fill out the live shows and he helped write and record the award-winning Doom-flavored Sighting EP released in 2025.
This year saw the addition to the final piece of the puzzle with Greg 'Gregzilla" Combs, joining on guitar and the release of the Live '25 full length recording.
The 'Squatch plays their own unique blend of rock, punk and metal that they like to call "Squatch-Rock."
