My name is Cory Collins. I am 31. I’m a rapper and a rocker. I’m from a small town in southern Ohio called Jackson and currently reside in Portsmouth.
Guitar is my first true love, but rap is where heart is these days; I started playing guitar when i was in 7th grade and been rapping since 16.
While growing up, my influences were everything from Eminem, Tupac, Linkin Park, Bullet For My Valentine. These days I’ve really been into bands like Bad Omens, Motionless In White and The Devil Wears Prada.
I just got my first two sponsorships from SevanCeas Clothing and by Dubby Energy, as well as just launched a clothing company of my own with my fiancé. She does more of running it though than I do, she loves making the clothes. It’s called C&A Custom Designs.
I’m currently in the studio working on my newest work—a mixture of rock and rap, by far my best work to date. Should be done with it by mid-summer of this year, I’m still working out the details for a release date.
I write music about me overcoming drug addiction and being homeless, getting sober, and chasing my dreams.
I hope to inspire people and show them that with a little bit of hard work and believing in yourself, you can give yourself a life you could never imagine; I never thought id have the life I have today.
