Top 5 Feature: PALE//TWIN

Formed in November 2024 in Cincinnati, OH, PALE//TWIN started off as the brainchild of the original drummer, current vocalist, and a separate guitarist, but quickly changed into something else entirely.

Through some tumultuous early lineup changes, PALE//TWIN have quickly found their core long-term members and their sound grasped firmly in the roots of Alternative, Metal, Metalcore, and Post-Hardcore with some seedlings of Shoegaze as well.

Currently, their line-up consists of two long-time best friends from Kentucky, two veterans of the Cincinnati local music scene, and a really talented young bass player from Colorado.

The band writes music that they would like to hear more of, and also music they hope will connect with fans on an emotional level. They strive for catchy choruses, driving verses, and emotional depth.

PALE//TWIN has been in the studio on and off (shout out to Blacklight Studios in Cincinnati) working on their first album.

They released a steady stream of singles throughout 2025 and will continue releasing singles on a tight schedule into 2026, including “Dying Blue” and “Vacant,” culminating to the release of their first album.

Besides the release of these singles and the album, they are working on putting together a great live set, and will be playing shows around Cincinnati, Ohio in general, and its neighboring states soon.

They are all looking forward to connecting with fans in the local and regional scenes and sharing bills with other great live bands as well.

PALE//TWIN will perform this Saturday, April 11 at Oddfellows in Cincinnati, Ohio as well as Friday, April 17 at Madison Theatre in Covington, Kentucky as part of a showcase of Cincinnati area artists—titled New Nati.
