Singer-songwriter, guitarist Mark Mercy resides in the Columbus, Ohio area and is a blues-rock musician who frequently performs throughout the region.
Mercy, whose first concert was AC/DC’s Rock ‘N Roll Train Tour at Schottenstein Center in Columbus when he was 10, is currently writing his debut EP, which will be self-titled.
“It is about my life, and the state of the world as well. I believe the ultimate form of success is to give the gift upon which one has received. And music saved my life, so I’d like to pay it forward.“
Mercy is an advocate and strong supporter of The Make-A-Wish Foundation.
“I would like to break Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s Make-A-Wish Foundation donation record someday—due to having met John Cena’s Make-A-Wish kid in 2013 on World Wish Day, through a charity music festival. Having seen the impact on that child, who was only 7 and had leukemia, had a profound impact on me at the age of 14, and at that moment I knew I wanted to be involved.”
