On a cold Wednesday night in Cleveland, Ohio, the House Of Blues proved once again why it’s a cornerstone of the city’s alternative music scene.

A strong and enthusiastic crowd turned out on Jan. 28 for the co-headlining tour featuring Lord Of The Lost and The Birthday Massacre, with Wednesday 13 joining the bill as special guest—and the night delivered on atmosphere, intensity, and gothic spectacle.

Opening the evening, Wednesday 13 wasted no time setting the tone. Blending horror-punk theatrics with hard-hitting riffs, the band came out swinging, feeding off the crowd’s energy and giving longtime fans exactly what they came for.

Wednesday 13’s charismatic stage presence and tongue-in-cheek darkness made for a perfect warm-up, priming the room for what was to come.

When The Birthday Massacre took the stage, the mood shifted into something more dreamlike and immersive.

Bathed in moody lighting and swirling synths, the band delivered a set that balanced heaviness with melody, creating an almost cinematic experience.

Chibi’s vocals floated effortlessly over pulsing beats and distorted guitars, and the Cleveland crowd responded with rapt attention; clearly savoring both the newer material and familiar favorites.

Co-headliners, Lord Of The Lost closed out the night with commanding authority.

The German gothic metal outfit brought theatrical flair, industrial edge, and undeniable power to the House Of Blues’ stage.

Frontman Chris Harms led the band with confidence and intensity, engaging the audience and turning the venue into a dark, unified mass of movement and sound.

The set felt both polished and raw, showcasing the band’s versatility while keeping the energy high from start to finish.

The Cleveland stop of this tour felt like more than just another date on the schedule—it felt like a celebration of gothic and dark alternative music in all its forms.

With a solid crowd, strong performances across the board, and a venue that amplified every moment, the Jan. 28 show at House Of Blues Cleveland was a memorable night for fans and bands alike.
