Multi-platinum, five-time Grammy nominated country artist Jason Aldean stopped at Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio on Friday, Jan. 23 as part of his expansive Full Throttle Tour, which kicked off mid-2025.
Aldean is nominated for Country Artist Of The Year as part of the 2026 iHeartRadio Music Awards (alongside nominees: Morgan Wallen, Lainey Wilson, Jelly Roll, Luke Combs), and his song “Whiskey Drink” is up for Country Song Of The Year (alongside nominees: “After All The Bars Are Closed,” Thomas Rhett; “Liar,” Jelly Roll; “Love Somebody,” Morgan Wallen, “Good News,” Shaboozey). The awards’ show runs Thursday, March 26 at 8 p.m.on FOX.
The Macon, Georgian’s twelfth studio album—Songs About Us (Broken Bow Records)—will release April 24; featuring collaborations with Luke Bryan, David Lee Murphy and his wife, Brittany Aldean.
Last night’s tour openers included: North Carolina musician Lanie Gardner, known for her viral cover of Fleetwood Mac’s “Dreams;” California’s Sony Music Nashville country singer-songwriter recording artist Nate Smith; and performing between sets, mash-up, mix-up producer Dee Jay Silver, the first DJ to ever be signed to a major Nashville record label—RCA Nashville.
The tour concludes Jan. 31 in the U.S., before traveling overseas for the month of February, then returns to the states this spring and summer.
