The one and only legendary wicked clown duo Insane Clown Posse (ICP) brought a family spectacle to remember in celebration of the holiday on Saturday night: The Big Baller Holiday Party.
The sold-out event—packed full of face-painted ninjas, Juggalos and Jugalettes—at KEMBA Live! in Columbus, Ohio was four-and-a-half hours of back-to-back entertainment, hosted by Clownvis Presley.
The mini-carnival Gathering reunion of sorts featured four supporting hardcore hip-hop performances (Wakko The Kidd, Shaggy The Airhead, DJ Clay, Ouija Macc), three segments of a troupe with dangerous stunt performers that tortured Santa Clause, 10 JCW/Juggalo Championship Wrestling pro matches (two Lunacy episodes filmed) and a highly anticipated special performance by horrorcore hip-hop headliners Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope (ICP).
Although no traditional Faygo doused the hatchet loving fans at this event and nobody took home empty plastic bottles, many did still take home party favors.
All the performers and some crew joined the 1991 Psychopathic Records’ founders on stage (along with some fans that found their way on stage) at the conclusion of their half-hour set to dissect the Christmas’ decorated stage; they threw and handed the crowd numerous wrapped presents, gift boxes, giant bulbs (and other stage props) for fans to take with them as memorabilia, tokens of attendance.
Going strong for 35 years as rap artists and in their early-50s, ICP recently announced The 25th Anniversary of The Gathering Of The Juggalos which will take place Aug. 13-16 again at Legend Valley in Thornville, Ohio.
