Buckcherry have been rocking out since the late ‘90s and they continue to do so today with two recent albums under their belt (Hellbound, Vol. 10) and frequent touring. Last night the five road dogs (with energetic original vocalist Josh Todd and guitarist Stevie D., who stole the set with his solos), pleased fans with an hour set that included performances of: “Lit Up,” “Somebody Fucked With Me,” “Crazy Bitch,” “Sorry,” a cover of Bryan Adams’ “Summer of ‘69” and a brief medley tribute to Tina Turner with a portion of “Proud Mary.” A straightforward, no BS set “putting the danger back in rock-and-roll.”

Despite vocal lineup changes through their nearly four decades as a band, Skid Row continues to persevere and sound just as they did (if not better) when they took the rock scene with their self-titled album in 1989; after all, the band still has three original members Scotti Hill (guitars), Dave Sabo (guitars) and Rachel Bolan (bass) along with extraordinary sustained, phenomenally ranged vocalist Erik Gronwall and drummer Ron Hammersmith. The east coast band performed classics from their first two releases: “I Remember You,” “18 And Life,” “Quicksand Jesus,” “Youth Gone Wild,” “Piece Of Me,” as well as two new songs from their recently released album The Gang’s All Here—their first album in 16 years. Skid Row's strings remain sharp and on point, led by a skilled, energetic, crowd engaging vocalist.
