Incubus performed for nearly two hours with continuous energy playing some heavier hits and some lighter hits last night at The Brady in Cincy.
A video wall displayed images of the band members performing--via cameras stationed on and around the stage--all mixed in with various colorful psychedelic overlays. The lighting throughout was remarkable.
There was an explosive turn table breakdown during "Make Yourself" and a thrilling version of "Sick Sad Little World," after which lead vocalist Brandon Boyd asked the crowd, "Can you feel it?" Other songs included: "Stellar," "Pardon Me," "Make Yourself," "Wish You Were Here," "Nice To Know You," "Drive."
The band incorporated some cover interludes during the set, including a full version of The Beatles' "Come Together," elevating the venue and enticing fans to dance.
Badflower delivered a full throttle headlining-like performance. The set included hits: "Don't Hate Me," "The Jester," "30," "Ghost" and "Heroin."
During "Stalker," lead vocalist Josh Katz jumped off stage and ran to the front of the pit and halfway through there was a strong drum solo by Anthony Sonetti.
Bassist Alex Espirtu never stopped, he spun around and kicked throughout the whole set while lead guitarist Joey Morrow nailed all his parts with no flaws.
