What do you hope listeners will take away after listening to the new single “Freakshow?”

I want our fans to be their own unique individual without letting others judge them just based on one’s own appearance.

There are times where I’m in public and I’ll get inappropriate remarks while I’m just minding my own business; however, I’m happy with who I am and I just chuckle to myself if someone thinks I’m a devil worshiper, just for looking extreme.

How does this song compare to your previous releases? What is your current approach for how you want the band to evolve?

Our previous songs weren’t in drop A and writing a song in that low of a tune makes “Freakshow” have that heavy and mysterious sound that it gives off.

We as a band have been evolving our sound by blending genres of dark ‘80s and progressive rock. I’ve always been a fan of bands like Tool, Deftones, and The Cure for their dark and ambient sound, so we wanted to portray that style for our new sound.

How do you think your live performances stand out?

I basically like to contort my body onstage as I get lost in the music. It might disturb some since it looks like I’m possessed onstage, but in reality, I’m in my own little world. I’m not much of a talker, which is why I mostly dance or run around to make up for talking.

What has being residents and the environment of Nashville, Tennessee brought to your perspective as musicians since living there after moving from your hometown of Lafayette, Louisiana?

The Nashville music scene is by far the most supportive group we’ve ever experienced. All the bands help each other and pack out local shows to keep the Nashville scene alive.

I’m very grateful for all of the bands who have supported us since we made the big move from Lafayette, LA to Nashville, which we are happy to call our home.

What’s the band’s future aspirations and next plans following the upcoming live shows?

We are in the process of writing new music and creating a brand new setlist for our live shows.

We also have an opportunity to tour Europe in the spring, which we are looking forward to since it will be our first European tour.

Is there anything else you’d like to add?

To all of the freethinkers and eccentrics out there, keep being you. Do not let any one convince you to change to fit into society. And lastly, go follow us on social media for upcoming shows and new music.
